One of Dochas strengths and commitments is in Education & Training for Women. The courses that Dochas provides is aimed at the development of women's self-esteem, education and prosperity. Dochas also works alongside the VEC in bringing courses to the public and target groups. A wide variety of courses run throughout the year, most of them free of charge. Members pay an annual fee of €10, which entitles them to sessional brochures and newsletters containing information on upcoming courses and events. Many women who have participated in courses go on to further their education or employment. Dochas treats all women as individuals and cater for their specific needs. Our drop in centre provides up to date information on courses, we will discuss your options and how you want to move forward, whether it is wanting to meet people in a social environment or moving towards possibilities for Education or Employment, we are here for you.. |
