What is Dochas for Women?

Dóchas is a community development organisation that is here to support, encourage and facilitate all women particularly those who live with a lack of opportunity and find it difficult to participate in self-development. Dóchas provides personal development programmes, support services and local training and education.

“We are here for you”

       Dóchas Drop-in Centre

The DROP-IN Centre is really the most important part of the services we provide. It is the focal point for women as it is here that they can come and sit down, have a chat and a cuppa. There is always someone here to listen and offer support when needed. The centre has a vast amount of material on issues affecting women. Also available are the prospectuses from all the colleges around Monaghan both North and South. The staff in the centre is there to support you in whatever self-development programme you want to take. We look forward to seeing you.
